RCD-DDSA
RCD-DDSA
Our Price: $14.99

Does your AD9850 based DDS have inadequate output to drive a vintage transmitter?  The solution is here.  Barely larger than a postage stamp, our amplifier will terminate your AD9850 based DDS in the proper 200 ohm load and provide approximately 10x voltage gain below 14 Mhz.  Convenient terminal posts for up to 14 vdc input and .1" space holes for direct RF soldered connection or to accept .1" header pins. more info
IF BUFFER Yaesu FTDX1200, Kenwood and others.
IF BUFFER Yaesu FTDX1200, Kenwood and others.
Our Price: $14.99

It really would have been nice if Yaesu had included an IF output on the FTDX1200, or FT-187 but somehow that feature missed the cut. Also a great solution for the Kenwood TS-440S and many other older radios that do not have a native first I.F. output.
Installs with just a couple of connections and then run the buffered output signal to the rear panel with the RF connector of your choice. This handy little buffer board is barely the size of a quarter, and has .100 spaced solder holes for DC and I.F. input, plus solder pads oriented for stripped RG-174 size coax. It even has a thoughtful pair of tie-ready holes to prevent cable movement. This board will also work well with the FT-100 and many others. Installation PDF will be emailed to you. Please specify your radio model during check out. The required connections for the FTDX-1200 are on the top of the board, and easy to access, but consider your soldering skill level before attempting installation. Free shipping to USA. International customers are welcome, please contact us at radiodesign@comcast.net to specify an international shipping option.

LAMB-1A HF Receiving Loop Amplifier
LAMB-1A HF Receiving Loop Amplifier
Our Price: $17.99

Active receiving loop antennas are a terrific solution for local noise and thunderstorm static rejection on the low bands.  This small amplifier works nicely with your supplied loop of apx 3 to 4 feet in diameter.  Feed to your receiver using either 50 or 75 ohm cable.  Power remotely via your existing DC power injector or purchase our inexpensive DC injector board to incorporate in to your project. For "table-top" builds, when the DC source is convenient, the LAMB-1A can also be powered locally without the need for an injector.  The Lamb-1A operates from 9 to 15 VDC. more info
